TCTSY - see below for more info
EMDR Level 1 & 2 trained
Most of my life I have lived in Vermont where I raised a family and owned several businesses as a florist, candle maker, landscape designer and yoga instructor.
Through my yoga practice, training and teaching, I have found a new paradigm in my outlook on health and wellness that has become an ongoing exploration in personal embodiment. I love my work as a Trauma Sensitive Yoga facilitator and I am dedicated to a safe and therapeutic alliance with my clients....in charge of themselves based on a felt sense of their own body.
In my personal life I enjoy long walks with my dog Fig, cooking, reading, gardening, making art and simple pleasures with friends and family. See below for more info

Felicia Cota
Board Certified Art Therapist
MA, ATR-BC, Rostered Psychotherapist
I have worked in Community Mental Health for 17 years in a variety of settings and roles supporting children, youth, families and adults. As an art therapist, my focus is to teach individuals how to heal through the creative process. The idea of using art as a tool for self-expression, in a non-threatening manner is truly powerful. Sessions focus on the process, rather than the product and often strengths and struggles present through the exploration of materials.
I am a Vermont native. I enjoy traveling with my family, cooking for family gatherings, painting, relaxing with a good book, and spending time in nature

Jen Cayer, PhD
Clinical Intern
Rostered Psychotherapist
EMDR 1 & 2 pending
As a clinician I’m committed to collaborating with individuals in empathic and creative ways to support growth and transformation. I’m most curious about person-centered and strengths-based therapeutic approaches that attend to somatics and mind-body integration. For the last 18 years I worked as a writer and professor. In these roles, my interests included the arts and self-expression, social change, and embodiment. I’ve also completed in-depth yoga teacher trainings and try to maintain a regular practice. That, alongside biking, reading, time with family and friends, and walks in the woods with my therapy dog-in-training help to center me.

Laura Cheney
MEd and Certified Life Coach
My winding career path began with an M.Ed. in secondary education and teaching social studies, followed by 10 years running my own business. From there, I became an Account Manager whereby I led the rebranding of the Burlington Police Dept. In seeking work more closely aligned with the community, I joined the BPD as the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police. In this role, I worked closely with Jackie and was immediately drawn to reframing how we understand and care for individuals who've experienced trauma and substance use disorder. I am currently working toward my certification as a life coach. In my free time, I care for and laugh with my family and friends.
